Visit the nature-blessed West Coast of Canada.
North Vancouver is a community between forest-covered mountains, a Pacific Ocean inlet and the City of Vancouver.

The house includes:
- A living room, a dining room with 6 seats, a kitchen with a 4-seat table.

Neighborhood
About the neighborhood
Our Lynn Valley home is just a kilometre from 250-hectare Lynn Canyon Park, which has a free suspension bridge across a river canyon and trails on both sides of a dramatic canyon.
Adjacent forest parks are just a few kilometres further. They include the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve. (5,600 hectares, with a 11-km long paved bicycle path to an old-growth forest, fish hatchery and water reservoir dam).
Other large parks on the North Shore: Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, Mount Seymour Provincial Park (with a car road to the alpine area), Grouse Mountain (gondola ride, restaurant, zip line, and grizzly bear zoo).
Sometimes, we see deer, bald eagles or black bears in nearby forests or in our neighbourhood.
We are very close to wilderness, but Lynn Valley has all the services that visitors need. The nearest shopping area is just one kilometre from our home. There are two supermarkets, a bakery, a delicatessen, a fish and meat shop, a fruit and vegetable market, three banks with automatic teller machines, two wine and liquor stores, five restaurants, coffee shops, a pharmacy and a walk-in medical clinic.
Our home is a just 2.5 kilometres from the Trans-Canada Highway. That highway and other major roads lead to places such as sandy beaches in West Vancouver, downtown Vancouver, the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal to Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast, and a scenic highway to Whistler, the resort village that hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics.
If you don't wish to drive, our home is also on a public bus route to places like the Lonsdale Quay Market and nearby Seabus terminal. The Seabus is a 12 minute passenger ferry ride to Waterfront Station, 3 rapid transit lines and downtown Vancouver. The City of Vancouver is a multi-ethnic city with many cultural, entertainment and artistic attractions (and many delicious ethnic restaurants!).

We enjoyed staying at this large and modern view home on the eastern edge of the Reykjavik region. We especially appreciated the big kitchen, dining room and the living room. Our home exchange partners took care of our property and we returned to a clean home.

We are retired adults who love to travel. Our daughter and son are now adults and have left home, which means we have a large house to offer for a home exchange.
