Unser Reihenhaus steht in einem klassischen Neubaugebiet in Walldorf (14.000 Einwohner) bei Heidelberg. Wir wohnen am Stadtrand in Richtung Bahnhof Wiesloch-Walldorf. Der Bahnhof ist zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad schnell erreichbar. Nach Heidelberg braucht die S-Bahn 9 Minuten,

50 m trennen unser Haus von Wiesen und Feldern. Zwei Spielplätze sind in 50 m Entfernung. Edeka und Aldi sind in fußläufiger Entfernung. Die Stadtmitte ist zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Haus ist mit einer Fußbodenheizung ausgestattet, die von unseren Winterbesuchern zum Teil extra positiv erwähnt wurde! Nicht unerwähnt bleiben sollte unser stabiler Tischkicker.

Walldorf, als eine der wohlhabendsten Städte des Rhein-Neckar-Kreises, ist ansonsten mit allen üblichen Annehmlichkeiten und Einrichtungen ausgestattet, die in Städten üblich sind. Besonders attraktiv sind Hallen- und Freibad.

Wir machen seit ca. 15 Jahren Haustausch, in der Regel zweimal im Jahr. Hier sind wir neu gelandet, da die technische Plattform unseres bisherigen Anbieters leider erneuert wurde und unserer Meinung nach nicht vernünftig funktioniert.

Modern house with 160 m² of living space and garden near Heidelberg. We live in the small city of Walldorf (14.000 Inhabitants) close to Wiesloch-Walldorf train station. The train station is easily accessible on foot or by bike. It takes 9 Minutes by train to go to Heidelberg. Our house is located close to meadows and fields. Two playgrounds are within 50 m. Supermarkets Edeka and Aldi are in walking distance. The city center can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The house is equipped with underfloor heating, which was mentioned extra-positive of our winter visitors! Not forgetting to mention: we got a kicker table, too.

Walldorf, as one of the most prosperous cities of the Rhein-Neckar district is otherwise equipped with all the standard amenities and facilities that are common in cities. Particularly attractive is the public indoor and outdoor pool. We swap our home for about 15 years, usually twice a year. We are with Intervac now because the technical platform of our previous provider was unfortunately renewed and is not working properly. At least in our opinion .

About the neighborhood

Ganz nah im Grünen aber über die S-Bahn oder Autobahn ganz nah zur Großstadt (Heidelberg, Mannheim, Karlsruhe). Das beschreibt unser Wohnsituation ganz gut. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es ganz viele Familien mit Kindern, Spielplätze und einen Bolzplatz. Etwas weiter ist man dann in der Kleinstadt mit allen Optionen, die man üblicherweise benötigt. Walldorf verfügt über ein tolles Frei- und Hallenbad und über eine ausgezeichnete Saunalandschaft.

In 20 Minuten Entfernung kann man in die Höhen und Wälder des Odenwaldes eintauchen. Hier gibt es vielfältige Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten: Sportklettern, Wandern, Mountainbiken, Paragliden und, und, und. Ebenfalls in 20 Minuten Entfernung kann man Wassersport betreiben: Kajak fahren auf Neckar und Rhein, SUP, Schwimmen und Segeln auf Seen und Altrheinarmen.

In 9 Minuten mit der S-Bahn bzw. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto gibt es die Hauptstadt der Romantik, Heidelberg, zu sehen. Die einzigartige Lage und die wunderbare Altstadt sind allemal eine Reise wert. Odenwald, Pfälzer Wald, Kraichgau, Rhein und Neckar sind in unmittelbarer Nähe für Naturliebhaber. Bei "schlechtem" Wetter bieten sich z.B. die Technikmuseen in Speyer, Mannheim und Sinsheim an.

In the countryside but on the train or motorway close to the city (Heidelberg, Mannheim, Karlsruhe). That describes our living situation quite well. In the surrounding area there are plenty of families with children, playgrounds and a soccer field. Not far is the city center with all the options that are required conventionally. Walldorf features a great indoor and outdoor pools and an excellent sauna. In 20 minutes distance you can visit the heights and forests of the Odenwald. There are many activities such as: rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding and, and, and. Even Watersport like Kajaking, Sailing, Waterskiing, Swimming and SUP is possible in 20 Minutes Distance.

In nine minutes by train or in 20 minutes by car, there is the capital of romance, Heidelberg. The unique location and the wonderful Old Town are all worth a visit. Odenwald, Palatinate Forest, Kraichgau, the Rhine and Neckar are nearby for nature lovers. With "bad" weather one can visit three tecnical museums in Speyer, Mannheim and Sinsheim and other museums, too.

Communicating was smooth and easy. They had all documents that were needed plus really helpful information all together. Everything was well organized and clean. They responded quickly to even minor questions. It was a pleasure to stay in their home. The piano was a pleasure to play! The only regret we had was that we didn't get to meet them in person!
