Visit Aarhus, European Capital of Culture 2017
Our house is a beautiful villa from 1920 - a classic Danish brick house - with lots of soul and charm. The house consists of a basement, a ground floor, 1st floor and 2nd floor. The house is very bright with lots of natural light coming from all sides. On the ground floor you will find the kitchen, the dining room and the living room in addition to a small bathroom and laundry room. On the first floor there is a large bathroom and three rooms - where two of the rooms are the children's room and the third is a laundry room / guest room. The upper floor is the master bedroom overlooking the lake from three large skylights. In the basement there is, in addition to storing things, also a room with table tennis. The large garden has many trees and shrubs. It is oriented to the west so there is sun on the terrace in the evening. In the garden there is a in-ground trampoline and a pavilion (used for cycling).

Aarhus is the second-largest city in Denmark. It is a university city with youthful energy mixed with a blast from the past with old houses and history. In Aarhus, almost everything is with in walking distance: culture attractions, restaurants, shopping, the woods and the sea.
The art museum, ARoS, delivers groundbreaking works from some of the world’s most progressive artists. Den Gamle By – The Old Town Museum is a unique international attraction and Moesgaard Museum will give visitors a world class museum experience. This year Aarhus also is the European Capital of Culture and will host a lot of unique cultural events in 2017.
Aarhus has been selected shopping city number one in Scandinavia and in 2016 Lonely Planet puts Aarhus at the top of the list of Europe’s hottest destinations.
Brabrand is an old railway town, now a quiet suburb of Aarhus, located 6-9 km west of Aarhus city center and immediately north of Brabrand Lake.

About Our Family
We are a family of five, Elisabeth and Jacob and our three children Regitze 6 years, Morgan 9 years and Rasmus 14 years. We both work in communication. We are a happy and creative family who loves to travel and experience new places. We enjoy our city Aarhus and all the wonderful opportunities the city gives us.
Lifestyle
We like to be out in our lovely garden and barbecue while the kids are on the trampoline or swings. Often we go down to the lake, which is a 2-minute walk from the house. During the weekends we take our bikes and bikes along the river to the center of Aarhus, This is a beautiful scenic bike path all tthe way and it takes about half an hour. Here we enjoy the city's many cultural attractions like AROS, Moesgaard and Dokk1 - and cozy cafes and restaurants. - and also the city's good shopping options, for example, in the cozy Latin Quarter. And of course the beach.
