A 2 bedroom apartment very close to the sea front.
Mary Lyth is our holiday home, sleeping 4. It has all amenities and, unusually for the sea front at historic Whitby, has parking right outside. As well as the sea, it is close to a beautiful National Park, with heather moorland, waterfalls woods and wildlife. Whether your interest is walking, shopping, exploring old streets, enjoying fish and seafood cafes or local pubs and tearooms, history, searching for fossils, sport, boat trips, interesting festivals, there is much to do here and in nearby villages. It is just over an hour from York by bus or train, and York is 2 hours from London.

Our 2 children left home 5 years ago, since when we have been offering hospitality to students from abroad, We have hosted more than 60 students from more than 20 different countries during this time, so we feel we have a worldwide family!
We love the birds and ducks that come into our little garden.
