Lovely couple, lovely house, lovely location not far from the beach. We would hope to exchange with Judith again in the future.
This was our first exchange and Teresa was very helpful in making sure everything went smoothly. We met to exchange keys and Teresa and her family were friendly and also gave us lots of advice about their neighbourhood and nearby places to visit. The house was as described. It was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. We had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay.Their garden was delightful and we enjoyed sitting outside for our evening meals. We felt relaxed and "at home" during our time at Teresa's house. The nesting dove and home-made jam were extra treats that helped to make our time in Willingham very special. The house is very well located for exploring Cambridgeshire. It is only a five minute drive to the local busway station where there is free parking and buses to Cambridge, St.Ives, Huntingdon and Ely. We particularly enjoyed visiting the nearby National Trust properties at Anglesey Abbey and the Wimple Estate. When we came home it was clear that Teresa and her family had taken good care of it. Thank you Teresa and Trevor for ensuring our first Intervac exchange was a great experience.
It was very easy to communicate with Judith which helped to make for a very smooth exchange. We had a really enjoyable swap and loved the house and its close proximity to the beach and shopping and cafe facilities. We are keen to repeat the process at some time. Thank you also for allowing family members to join us.
Philip and Caroline were extremely helpful with information and advice about their home and surrounding area before our exchange. We were able to meet en route which was lovely. Their home is spacious and comfortable with a beautiful garden. They looked after ours very well too. Philip and Caroline live in a very attractive part of Tunbridge Wells in walking distance to the centre and also for exploring the surrounding area. We were not familiar with Kent and were very pleasantly surprised by the number of attractions nearby ( especially National Trust) and how pretty it is. In fact we enjoyed our stay at Caroline and Philip’s so much that we hope to exchange with them again in the future.

We were members back in the days when a catalogue dropped through your letterbox and we actually wrote letters to each other!
We enjoyed our Intervac holidays when our children were small. Now that we are retired we want to renew and start enjoying new places and experiences. Our particular interests are science, the arts and history.
Our son lives in Helsinki and our daughter lives in Bristol. We have three grandchildren aged 11,6 and 2. Occasionally, we may ask to bring one of our children and their family on an exchange.
